While I was working in Mali as a carpenter in the 1990s I realised that I was more interested in the people than in their furniture. This was my motivation to study Anthropology. Today I work as a freelance filmmaker and anthropologist in Hamburg and around the world. Below is an overview of the most significant stages of my career:
